The internet
The internet is a global network of computers that works much like the postal system, only at sub-second speeds. Just as the postal service enables people to send one another envelopes containing messages, the internet enables computers to send one another small packets of digital data.
What is WWW?
The World Wide Web, or simply Web, is a way of accessing information over the medium of the Internet. It is an information-sharing model that is built on top of the Internet.
What is a web browser?
A web browser is a software program that allows a user to locate, access, and display web pages. In common usage, a web browser is usually shortened to "browser."
Common browsers include Internet Explorer from Microsoft, Firefox from Mozilla, Google Chrome, Safari from Apple, and Opera.
What is a search engine?
A search engine is software, usually accessed on the Internet, that searches a database of information according to the user's query.

After the teacher explanation, create a document using Microsoft Word, applying the following format:
- Line spacing: 2.0
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: 12pts
- Color: black
Make a query and answer the following questions:

2. What is an IP address?
3. Consult the brief history of how the internet started?
4. List 5 differences between search engines and web browsers, using the numbering tool.
